My name is Lakshanaa Ganeson and welcome to my portfolio!

I am currently pursuing a diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and will be graduating in May 2023.

In this portfolio, you will find out more about myself, my work, and my collaboration with children, together with my professional skills and achievements.

My love for children started crystallizing in 2011 when my neighbour gave birth to their son, followed by twin girls the following year. Their parents took care of me when I was young and now the cycle continues between their children and me. From teaching them how to walk to bringing them on playground dates. Coming home to their adorable faces embracing me instantly makes my day. Soon enough, I realised I had an exceptional bond with children as I found everyone in our families commenting on how close their attachment was to me. In 2019 I went to volunteer at Sunflower Preschool. That experience assured me that being in the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) is exactly what I want, lifelong.
