National Youth Achievement Award

I aimed to attain the silver National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA)  during secondary school which required me to by displaying good leadership and contributing to society. I successfully secured this award by participating in VIA work. These involvements include volunteering at Apex Harmony Lodge to teach the elderly about basic technology, painting gates for 65 households in old residential blocks, giving a closing speech after baking with elderlies as a class, and raising $365 for cancer. They were well accepted by the members of our community which gave me a great sense of achievement. These experiences are well instilled in my heart and motivate me to give back more to the future and pioneer generation of our society.
